Aloha!

As a weekly column illustrator for the MauiTime Weekly newspaper, I've become known for my socio-political "Eh Brah!" cartoon renderings - but my hands are equally comfortable in the fine and surrealistic art environments.

MERMAIDS IN LOVE

My latest assault on the senses (following my "Tiki Tweeking" and the "Reflections Collection") concerns itself with the Sirens of the Sea - the mischievous, misunderstood mermaid.

FIGUREHEAD WONDER

My mermaids are not Disney type-cast. My mermaids are truer to their legend - the bane of sailors / the fetching, finny killers of men. Wrapping their arms around the necks of the hapless sailor in a faux loving embrace - before the seduction of the death plunge into the crushing depths.

PLAYING PIRATE

Endlessly playing in the flicker of the aquamarine half light with the 'personal effects' of mortals who have been cast into the deep.

Lesbian in leaning and relentless in their calling as the Beautiful Babes of the Boundless Blue Abyss, they continue to swim about in the deep watery pools of our imaginations.
